ILA 2014

At ILA 2014, the skies above Berlin/Brandenburg came alive with the roar of jet engines, precision flying, and the latest innovations in aerospace. This gallery from my third visit to ILA puts you right in the middle of the action, showcasing impressive moments from the airshow, detailed static displays, and behind-the-scenes insights. There was plenty of action in the air. From jets such as the JAS-39C Gripen and the Breitling Jet Team to the air-to-air refueling display with the Airbus A330MRTT, Eurofighters, and Tornados, there was something for every aviation fan. Even helicopter fans were treated to plenty of helicopter action with the Tiger-HAP from France, the BO-105, and many more.

From international air forces to giants of civil aviation such as the Antonow AN-124, the pictures illustrate the diversity, technology, and energy that made ILA 2014 a truly global aviation event.
