Stearman & Friends 2023

Take a trip back in time at Stearman & Friends 2023, held at the historic Bienenfarm airfield. This special gathering brought together beautifully restored Boeing Stearman biplanes, historic warplanes such as the P-51 Mustang and Yakovlev Yak-9U-M, and a vibrant community of aviation enthusiasts, families, and photographers. The skies above Bienenfarm were brought to life by spectacular aerial displays, including formation flying, low-level flying, and classic aerobatics, which thrilled the audience and filled camera lenses with unforgettable moments. On the ground, visitors enjoyed a rich supporting program featuring vintage cars, live music, delicious street food, and a bouncy castle for younger guests. A real highlight for many was the opportunity to fly in one of the historic biplanes and enjoy a unique open-cockpit experience.

Stearman & Friends 2023 was more than just an air show – it was a celebration of aviation history, community, and passion, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All air displays also available as video in my video gallery.
