Hi, I’m Gerrit, based in Berlin and an avid fan of aviation, also known as a spotter. The name Aerowl-aviation is a combination of „Aero“ and „Owl“. The owl, known for its excellent vision, efficiency and silent flight, symbolizes my approach to aviation photography: precise, efficient and with a keen eye for detail. This is how the play on words that perfectly describes my brand came about.

Mission

For over 20 years, I have been passionately dedicated to photographing airplanes, jets and helicopters. My equipment consists of high-quality Canon and Sony cameras, which 
I use to capture the fascination of aviation in impressive images. I regularly visit airshows and airports to document the diversity and dynamics of airplanes and capture the exciting moments of air traffic.

Vision

My vision for the future is to further refine my skills and take even more impressive pictures with new, even more powerful camera equipment. I plan to focus more on creating high-quality videos to capture the beauty and complexity of aviation in moving images. By continuously developing my techniques andusing the latest technologies, I want to offer my viewers and followers an even more intenseand impressive experience.
